On day 3, our final day, we packed up all our things in the morning, besides what we need for hiking. We did not hike any mountains today, but we did walk around in the woods and followed trails and stuff like that. A little while into our walk, we started getting a bit salty with one another, so our hiking instructor had us do a solo walk, where we walk in the woods all by our lonesome. I thought there was going to be a killer clown waiting for me in the woods, and it was a rather long trail, with a lot of weird twists and curves so I thought I had gone the wrong way. When the whole group was together again, we crossed a stream. I almost fell in about 10 times before crossing successfully. At this stream there was a lot of moss, probably more than I saw anywhere else. Maybe there are certain regions that the moss grow in. There were some apple trees at Cardigan, but only in certain places, they probably grow in regions that meet the standards for an apple tree to grow.
On Cardigan, there were a lot of different kinds of trees, but oddly enough there were no oaks. But there were hemlock, birch, sugar maple, red maple, and striped maple. In different regions on the mountain, I noticed more of certain kinds of trees grew than others. Like in one region there were a lot of birch, and in another there were a lot of striped maple. Regions on the mountain also include the hiking trails, because they lead to different part of the mountain, there is something different about each one, making it easy to separate them into regions.
